First, the impact of different regions
The selection of prepainted plates in different regions mainly considers the local wind and snow load and the corrosive environment.
Wind and snow loads mainly consider the safety factor of the building. Although this is related to the mechanical properties of the prepainted steel plate, it is more related to the plate type, thickness and connection between the plates of the profiled steel plate (the recommendation of steel plate materials is described in the development trend). It is relatively difficult to quantitatively describe the corrosive environment in an area. There are many corrosion factors that affect the prepainted steel plate.
Second, the impact of different industries
The use of prepainted plates in different industries is analyzed in two aspects:
One is the outer plate of the prepainted steel plate, under normal circumstances, it is selected according to different regions, but the impact of the small environment should also be considered. That is, whether there are corrosive media falling on the plant envelope nearby, such as the gas emitted by the boiler, sulfur dioxide dust, etc., which should consider the height of the chimney and the main local wind direction in the design. In addition, there is how the sealing of the plant is, it is also possible that the corrosive gas in the high temperature and high humidity zone in the plant comes out in the outdoor cold air and condenses on the prepainted board, this phenomenon should be avoided, it will accelerate the generation of local corrosion;
The second is to consider the inner plate (double-layer composite steel plate) or the back paint (single-layer plate) of the prepainted steel plate. What should be explained here is that relatively speaking, roof inner panels are more susceptible to corrosion than wall inner panels, and if workers can work in this environment, it is possible to use prepainted steel plates. However, the quality of the indoor environment or the investment of environmental protection devices will directly affect the service life of the prepainted steel plate. A few years ago, Baosteel had two end users in Guangxi, both producing electrolytic aluminum. However, the service life of its pre-painted steel plates is far from the same, one has been in production for one year, and the other is still in use for more than 6 years.
(1) Non-ferrous metal smelters
Non-ferrous metal smelters (copper, zinc, aluminum, lead, etc.) are the most challenging for the service life of prepainted steel plates. However, reasonable selection of materials, design, and environmental protection input can ensure or improve the service life of prepainted steel plates. 10 years for replacement or maintenance should be possible.
(2) Iron and steel plants, power plants, etc
Steel plants, power plants, etc. also produce corrosive media, but prepainted steel plates have experience in long-term use.
(3) Machinery manufacturing industry
Machinery manufacturing (automobiles, steam turbines, machine tools, etc.) basically will not have a negative impact on prepainted corrosion, but it should be noted that these industries may have heat treatment furnaces, boilers, etc. will also affect the local environment, and poor treatment will bring corrosion of prepainted steel plates, especially at processing damage or cutting edges.
(4) Warehousing and logistics
This industry is developing rapidly, the use of light steel is also the most, itself does not corrode the color coated plate, it on the choice of color coated steel plate mainly consider the impact of the environment, generally such projects are concentrated in the industrial development and heavy traffic places, that is, industrial environment and coastal areas
(5) Public and civil buildings.
Beauty and durability are the primary considerations for prepainted steel plates. Therefore, it is important that the coating is resistant to discoloration, chalking and the integrity and delicate surface of the coating. Public and civil buildings are concerned by many people and close range, so the choice of paint generally uses PVDF or HDP, and more light colors are selected.
